This campground is great. The price is reasonable & the staff are great. There is an abundance of wildlife; ducks, squirrels, coons, fish & muskrats. The spaces are a little tight but OK. The sites are mostly paved with numerous sites on the river with lots of shade. You can build you own camp fire. Very nice. We will stay here again.
The staff was very friendly & helpful. All the sites are gravel sometimes creating some dust. The internet service and cable were great. The sites were large enough to handle big rigs, which I was in 45'. We will certainly return in the future.
This is a nice campground and centrally located. The only problem I have is the dust. On dry days they will run water trucks to help out against the dust. Each day our cars & motorhomes were covered with dust I also noticed that all campers doesn't pay the same rates. There was 4 campers in our party and we camped together but each one of us paid a different price, I don't understand that. We don't plan on returning
The campground is spacious with large pull thru sites. It's located in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do. Upon arrival, I had a problem with poor tv cable reception. When I called the front desk some young brat answered with a somewhat rude remark concerning his cable. This problem could be corrected with a trip to the wood shed. If we pass through, we would probably stay again.
Very nice park with lots of site space. This park sits between I95 and the turnpike, thus alot of traffic noise. The only complaint I have is I alone, with another fellow camper, made reservations two months in advance and had asked to be together. Upon arrival we were told that they were too full for us to be together. We noticed that vacant lots next door to us was vacant during my entire stay. It seems that the office personal can't make decisions.
This is a very nice campground but very tight. I noticed that they are now charging some extra fees like water & reservation fees, which I feel is another way to get extra money. We stayed in site # 13 which is owned by the guy that owns sites 12 & 13 and camped next to us. That was a nightmare. The owner was a complete nut. He woke us up at all hours of the night for stupid questions and later left out in the wee-hours of the night, extremely noisy. He continuously monitored our every move. If we go back, we will not stay in # 12 or 13. I feel that the campground is very over priced.
The park is very nice, and some of the nicest people in the world. The sites are vey large with lots of room. The only negative I have is the traffic. The golf carts don't pay attention to the speed limit and don't respect your presence.
The park is very nice, but investors beware as I was a victim. The sales personnel said one thing, but at time of closing, the contract stated something else. Very one sided. Bella Terra refused to refund all monies. A big loss for us.
